Objectives: The liver of the rabbits were injected with absolute ethanol under the guidance of ultrasonography. To observe the changes both ultrasonography contour before, after PEI of liver organ and activities of liver enzymes(ALT, AST, ADH and ALDH) at any different time and different foci at specific pathologic situ in the liver tissue as well as the positive percentage of 8-OHdG of liver cell DNA damage. To investigate whether PEI can cause damage to both DNA and level of enzymes liver .To find out the relationship between damage and time, loci as well as the changes of ultrasonography contour. Hence the clinical application of PEI can give more safety and objective analysis.Method:20 rabbits were divided into two groups; the experimental group consisted of 16 rabbits and control group consisted of 4 rabbits. The experimental group was subdivided into two where group A stood for 1ml absolute ethanol injection and group B stood for 2ml absolute ethanol injection. The 4 rabbits of control group stood for C group without any injection. Under the ultrasonography guidance in the experimental observed group the liver of the rabbits were injected only one times with certain dosage of absolute ethanol. After injection, the activities of ALT,AST and ALDH were measured early in the morning from different part which were auricle vein and serum on days 1,3,7,12 respectively. Two rabbits from each group A and B and one from group C were put to death at the same time. Observed gross pathologic liver, the removal of necroses foci border was 0cm, distance necroses foci 1cm of any site 1cm and uninjected liver lobe (Xcm). Liver tissue 0.1g all of the activities of ADH and ALDH were measured; after embedding every tissue, the damage of...
