[Objective] : This study is done to observe the relationship between lab-measuring indexes (ALT, AST, TB, IB, TBA, ALB, A/G, PT, FIB, CHOL) of patients with cirrhosis and syndrome differentiation of TCM. Then it probes into possibility and feasibility of picking out some objective quantization indexes, marking different syndromes of TCM, from above-mentioned indexes.[Methods] : From the history materials consulting 1995-2005 years, 89 cases, according to the standard for selection of the case, are divided into 3 groups (qi stagnation and blood stasis group 34 cases, heat stagnation and blood stasis group 30 cases, spleen deficiency and blood stasis group 25 cases ). After recording above-mentioned indexes of each case, we use SPSS13. 0 to deal with statistics, and compare the means of every two groups' indexes with analysis of variance, then observe the laws of the change of lab-measuring indexes of different syndromes of TCM.[Results] : It has some connections between some lab-measuring indexes in this study of patients with cirrhosis and syndrome differentiation of TCM, and it has similar development law between these lab-measuring indexes and syndrome differentiation of TCM. But considering dispersed degree and difference among the groups, the dependence of TBA , PT and different syndromes of TCM is relatively strong. TBA , PT may be relatively better indexes marking different syndromes of TCM, and in turn qi stagnation and blood stasis group < heat stagnation and blood stasis group < spleen deficiency and blood stasis group, so they are worth continuing studying in future.[Conclusion] : This study proves preliminary that there is some dependence between lab-measuring indexes (TBA, PT) of patients with cirrhosis and syndrome differentiation of TCM. And it proves preliminary that there is possibility and feasibility of picking out some objective quantization indexes, marking different syndromes of TCM, from above-mentioned indexes. So it worth continuing studying in future to find out the objective evidence and basis of syndrome differentiation of TCM.
