Objective: To observe the effects of propofol on the activation of m-Calpain and the mitochondria permibility transition of ischemia-reperfusion myocardial myocytes. Methods: Experiment protocol: Twenty-four healthy male New Zealand white rabbits weighing 2.12.3kg, aged 4 months were anesthetized with intraperitoneal 3% pentobarbitone 30mg.kg-1and. Left ventricular artery (LVA) was occluded by thread(5-0) for 30min then loose it for 120min. When the experiment was completed, the heart was removed. To deal with the speciments according to the standard of experiment. The animals were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=8 each): (1)control group, the left ventricular artery (LVA) will not be occlused, other conditions were same as I/R Group.(2)ischemia/reperfusion group,LVA was occluded for 30min then loose it for 120 min.(3)propofol group , the propofol was infused at the dose of 2.5mg.kg-1.h-1 before operation then continuously infused at 5mg.kg-1.h-1 to the end of experiment1 The methods of detecting of blood index Blood sample was taken from femoral artery at three time...
