Objective: Acute lung injury (ALI) is a kind of lung injury which be caused by many reasons. Much research shows that polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs) play a very important role in the pathologic process of ALI. Many observations imply that PMNs would hurrily enter into lung and keep activing afer it happened trauma and infection, which play an important role in the happening of ALI. Untill now, the studies about why the PMNs would remove into lung tissue, the transition of them, and how they influence the development of ALI, are seldom. The purpose of ours experiment is, according to the duplicate animal ALI model with lipopolysacchride (LPS), to investigate the changes of cytokine-induced neutrophil chemoattractant (CINC) and the ratio of PMN apoptosis, and to make out how they effect on PMNs in the process of ALI. Then to approach the controlled mechanism of the transcription factor NF- kappaB to mRNA expression of CINC and to PMN apoptosis and last to use NF-κB inhibitor ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocabamate (PDTC) to extenuate ALI. All of these studies may provide theoretical knowledge and new method in the...
