Syndrome's Approach On Conservative Treatment Of Colles' Fracture

[Objective]: The subject is to observe the effect in treating and incidence of complication of colles' fracture by splintlet external fixation with Chinese medicial external application .[Methods]: Randomly selected 79 patients of colles' fracture (20 men cases, 59 women cases whose average age is 52.49), which were divided into one observing group and three control groups. The observing group (23 cases,is tagged "A" ) adopted splintlet external fixation with Chinese medicial external application. Three control group adopted respectively simple splint external fixation (21cases,is tagge"B" ), simple plaster external fixation (20 cases,is tagged "C") and splint-plaster external fixation (15 cases,is tagged "D" ), ensuring that the four groups was comparable at aspects of classification of fracture and condition. All cases were observed for 2~4 weeks and followed up for three months. Observed the four groups'comparison of the detumescence period of fracture, functional recovery of extremity, complication and curative effect.[Results]: The observing group, compared with three control groups, has remarkable difference on the detumescence period of fracture, relieving pain, functional recovery of grasp force and activity, incidence in complication after treatment(P<0.05). The observing group, compared with A or B control groups,has remarkable difference on improvement of anomaly, palmaris inclination, angle of ulnar drift and the effect in treatment of colles fracture(P<0.05).[Conclusion]: Splintlet external fixation with Chinese medicial external application has conspicuous detumescence andodynolysis effect in the morning of colles ' fracture, which sustained effectively palmaris inclination and angle of ulnar drift,and was lower than Three control group in incidence of complication of colles' fracture and curative effect of the the observing group is superior to the group of the simple splint or the splint-plaster.
