Hepatocarcinoma is appearing more and more in the world and threatening people as eighth fearful disease. 42% of new patients occurs in our country and it is the second lethal tumor. 80%~90% of hepatoma is hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), secondly cholangiocarcinoma. The occuring rate of male is 1/3 higher than female. Tumor formation is a multi-factors and multi-phases process involving the change of normal cell growth and gene. Along with the development of cytobiology, immunology and molecular biology, scientists found that tumor occurrence and development nearly tie with immune function of body. Former studies discovered different-degree decreased immune level in all tumor patients, such as spleen accretion, thymus shrink, proliferation of T and B cells decline, IL-2 reducibility etc. that is one of the vital reasons of tumor unbounded growth and immunity escape. So, a crucial aspect for action mechanism research of anti-cancer medicament is how to rightly evaluate the immune function of body.Recently, search of high-effect-low-toxicity natural anti-tumor medicine and biological response modifier has been a focus of world new-medcine exploiture. Citrus fruits are traditional medicine in China and the peel often is used as medicinal materials. Nobiletin(NOB) just is a polymethoxy flavonoid extracted from the fruits (greenfruits, fruits peel, juice, seeds ) of Citrus depressa Hayata. Its chemistry structure is 5,6,7,8,3',4'-hexamethoxy flavone. The effects of NOB on gastric cancer, lung cancer, leukemia had been proved by many overseas scholars. But in our country, there was seldom study on it and no hepatoma and immunological report about it. Because of the...
