Research On Teaching Model Of Cultivating Creative Ability In Medical Students By Constructivism Theory

Constructivism is a social science theory contemporarily popular in Europe and America, which is both a kind of cognition and a learning philosophy. The educational reform based on constructivism theory has been a development trend in international educational circles. Therefore, on the basis of retrospective study of the theory, idea and methodology of the traditional education and taking the educational theory and methodology of the developed countries as reference, that to further carry out the educational reform and creative education has been the crucial issue confronting our culture of medical students.This paper,based on the constructivism theory,aims at cultivating the medical students'creative ability and establishing the corresponding teaching model in medical colleges by way of document comprehensive analyze, questionnaire, expert interview, statistical method, Delphi method, Analytic Hierarchy Process etc. It includes five parts.Partâ… retrospects to the theory of the constructivism and its teaching model. Based on the constructivism and the conception and connotation of its teaching model, this part remarkes on the current status, development trend, and practice of overseas and domestic teaching model and analyzes the correlation between the constructivism and the cultivation of creative ability of medical students. We put forward that the theory and ideas of the constructivism correspond with the education essence of our country, it may enlighten culturing and developing creative ability for medical students.Partâ…¡investigates the current status and development trend of the teaching model of medical colleges in our country. It deals with a questionnaire on"current teaching model of medical colleges in our country". Then it explores the attitudes and requirement of medical colleges on current teaching model and methods, and the awareness of the constructivism theory. This paves way for an active reference and application of the essence of the theory, thus develops the traditional teaching model and constructs a new type model.
