Objective : Psoriasis is known as a prevalent chronic inflammatory dermatologic disease that prone to be recurrent. Considering it affects the physical and mental health of the patients severely ,the study of etiology, prevention and management of this disease is emphasized currently . While considerable experiences in dealing with psoriasis with the traditional Chinese medicine have been accumulated in China, exploiting effective traditional Chinese medicine to therapy psoriasis vulgaris, assessing the drug action with scientific test facility and exploring the possible mechanisms of the traditional Chinese medicine to the psoriasis vugaris are critical. In this study, we investigated the effects of the traditional Chinese medicine, the crude extract of Liangxuehuoxue complex prescription with water and alcohol on proliferation, apoptosis and telomerase activity in keratinocyte HaCaT and human umbilical vein endothelial cell ECV304, to explore the effective concentration and the mechanism of there antipsoriatic effects ,so as to establish a scientific experimental basement to the clinical application and the exploitation of its Chinese patent medicine. Methods: In present study, After simulating keratinocyte cell hyper-proliferation with human immortal epidermic cell, HaCaT cell line, and capillary vessel with human umbilical vein endothelial cell ,ECV304 cell line respectively, cultured HaCaT and ECV304 cells in vitro were exposed to the crude extract of Liangxuehuoxue complex prescription at different concentrations. Inhibition on cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay. Morphological changes were observed under inverted...
