BackgroundIt has been proved that stress could modify multiple aspects of immune responses. Immune imbalance is the contributory factor to the onset or progression of infectious, autoimmune, and malignant diseases, so it is important to illuminate the mechanisms of impaired immune response under stress. There are many virtues in animal model for scientific research, therefore establishing successful animal modes is the key for further research in stress field. Two kinds of stressed mice models (restraint stress and heat stress) were established in the test, then the mice were attacked by Escherichia coli, the mortality rate of mice of each group was calculated, the influences on the immune defense of mice under different stressors were explored. The relations between genetic polymorphisms and the immune response under stressors were investigated. And the related mechanisms were studied through the researches of damages of the immune apparatus, changes of the proteins in the serum, and alterations of the contents of tantalum in the whole blood under stressors.MethodsTwo kinds of stressed mice models (restraint stress and heat stress) were established, then the mice were attacked by Escherichia coli, the mortality rate of mice of each group was calculated, the influences on the immune defense in mice under different stressors were explored.
