Objective: Despite of the great improvement on the pathophysiology knowledgement of sepsis and septic shock and on medical treatment and life support, the incidence and mortality of sepsis steadily increased in the past decades. The treatment of sepsis and MOF is classified into specific and non-specific treatment. Although many expensive and new techniques had been used, the mortality hasn't been significantly improved. These new techniques are expensive and used in clinical field for a short time. The final effects are not clear and a lot of evidence-based clinical trials need to approve these. In this study the patients meeting the severe spsis criteria are elected, who are transfused by monitoring CVP and monitoring CVP plus serum lactate test separately. We observe two methods'effects on the change of blood PH, BE, renal function and WBC counts and clarify the role of lactate test in treatment of septic shock.Methods:1. 40 septic shock patients2. all patients meet the severe sepsis criteria made by ACCP and SCCM in 1992.3. all patients receive general medical treatment, and randomly are separated two groups, treatment group and control group.4. Treatment group includes 20 patients, treated by septic shock general treatment and transfusion directed by monitoring central venous pressure and measuring blood lactate level; control group also includes...
