Alternations Of MDM2, P53, BCL-2 And BAX In Concurrent Cancers Of The Esophagus And Gastric Cardia From The Same Patients, Changes Of MDM2 In Single Esophageal Cancer At High-incidence Area In Henan | Posted on:2007-05-21 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:X D Lv | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360185971350 | Subject:Internal Medicine | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most frequent malignant diseases in the world. SCC is characterized by its remarkable geographic distribution, the ratio for its incidence could be as high as 500:1. Consistent geographic distribution with SCC in the same high-incidence area is the remarkable epidemiological characteristic of gastric cardic adenocarcinoma (GCA). SCC and GCA are the most common malignant diseases in Henan province, and remain the leading cause of cancer related deaths in these areas. Since 1995, our laboratory has established stable studing field for mass survey and follow-up at high-incidence area in Henan, it is noteworthy that primary concurrent cancers of the esophagus and gastric cardia from the same patient (CC), is not uncommon in this area (2.5%), which indicates that there may be similar risk factors and mechanism involved in SCC and GCA. Geno-background and environmental factors of CC are similar and comparability, so CC is very ideal model for discriminating differences of SCC and...
