Objective:Explore prevalence in Suzhou and behavior disorder in clinical subtypes of children attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and provide scientific basis for interfere it.Methods: Apply American psychiatric association diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders fourth edition and parent symptom questionnaire and parent symptom questionnaire and investigation table about factor of influence in ADHD. In Suzhou eight primary schools were spot check randomly one class from grade one to grade six.Results:The total prevalence rate of ADHD was 13.86% among school-age in Suzhou. PI, HI, CT was 8.85%, 1.65%, 3.36% respectively. ADHD of the boys was more than that of girls. There was significant difference in birth weight, deliver way, asphyxia, nutrition and disease between ADHD group and control group (P<0.05).The factor scores of PQS were significant difference between ADHD group and control group in conduct disorder, learning problem, psychosomatic problem, impulsive-hyperactive behavior, anxiety and hyperactive index. (P<0.01). It was different between PI group and CT group in impulsive-hyperactive and hyperactive index (P<0.05). In learning problem also different between HI group and CT group (P<0.05). Conclusions:The prevalence rate of ADHD was 13.86% among school-age children in Suzhou. Among the three types of ADHD, the prevalence rate of PI was the highest. There was a higher behavior disorder including conduct disorder, learning problem, impulsive- hyperactive behavior, and hyperactive index in CT group .It was easy to present learning problem and anxiety in PI group. In HI group it was present conduct disorder, impulsive-hyperactive behavior.
