Objective: To explore the characteristic of family environment and the features of psychological behavior of children with ADHD such as their individuality, behavior, self-awareness, sensory integration and social behavior etc.. And also to study the factors that influence their psychological behavior features. Analyzing the influence factors of children with ADHD by using logistic regression model to direct the intervention of ADHD.Method: Pick out 880 children at age 9 to 11 form two primary schools in Jining and make a stratified sample survey in each class as a unit. First, taking the most important picking in simplifying works of hyperactivity with Conners ADHD Parents and Teachers Brief Rating Scale(PTBRS), taking the second-class diagnosis by DSM-IV criterion, and the scales are filled in by parents. 53 children with suspicious were screened out at first taking PTBRS score more than 10 as standard. And combining interviews and medical examinations 47 children were diagnosed ADHD. They and 47 normal children from the same grade the same sex and the same age(within 1 year) were assessed by the inventory for family backgrounds, Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version (FES-CV), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-for Children(EPQ), Achenback Children Behavior Checklist(CBCL), Piers-Harris Children's Self-concept Scale(PHCSS), Sensory Integration Scale and Infants-middle school students Adaptive Behavior Scale. All data was analyzed with SPSS 13.0 soft ware; the linear regression was used to explore the relationship between the family and psychology behavior features, Logistic regression model was performed between ADHD group and the control group.Results: Compared with the normal group, children with ADHD are very picky in choosing food (P=0.004), and they make poor academic performances (P=0.000). The case group had a lower natural childbirth than the control group(P=0.005), the professional intellectuals proportion of parents of the case group is lower than that of the control group(P=0.037,P=0.007), qualifications are lower than the control group(P=0.005, P=0.019), parents of cheerful personality are lower than the later(P=0.002, P=0.000),and the warm style child-bring-up is also lower than the control group(P=0.000). They had significant lower scores of cohesion, intellectual-cultural orientation , active -recreation orientation , organization and more conflicts in FES-CV, they had high scores on the psychosis (P =0.003), neurosis dimensions (P =0.000) and lying (P =0.000), lower score on external-internal (P =0.040) . They had higher behavior scores .The level of self-concept and social adaptive behavior were also comparatively lower than those of control group. In children with ADHD, the characteristic of family environment had some relation to the development of neurosis dimensions, lying, behavior, sensory integration, self-concept and social adaptive behavior . Achievement of learning , character of mother, improper way in bring up , intellectual-cultural orientation and total behavior scores were the influence factors of ADHD. The influence factors of ADHD are Chinese score (1), Mathematics score(1),mother's character(1),bring-up style(1),knowledge and behaviors score. The high behavior score is the risky factor and the others of the influence factors are the protective factors.Conclusion: Two groups of children had different psychological behavior features and family environment. Children with ADHD had relatively bad psychological behavior features and poor family environment. The latter badly affected the former. In order to prevent ADHD, not only was cognition improved, but also the psychological behaviorproblem and the family environment should be paid more attention to.
