Backgrounds: China has the highest incidence of esophageal cancer, it's emendation mortality rate is 20.4/100 thousand. In histopathology, 95% of esophageal cancers is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Jiangsu Province is the major region where has a higher incidence in China, especially in Yang Zhong and Huai Yin city. Esophageal cancer has bad curative effect and prognosis, so it has severity affection to people's health. In recent years, many scholars in the world had engaged in a lot of basic research about esophageal cancer, especially about the role of angiogenesis in esophageal tumorgenesis. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and hypoxia inducible factor ( HIFs ) play a key role in regulation of angiogenesis.
