Objective: To evaluate the effect of intramyocardial administratio n of BMSC on the angiogenesis and coronary collateral circulation, to determine the expression of vimentin, αSMA, SDF-1, CXCR 4 ininfarcted myocardium.Methods: Myocardial infarction was induced in inbred F344 rats by left anterior descending artery ligation. Coronary artery (LAD) was ligated by a thin silk thread. After coronary artery was occlused , 200 μl medium of BMSC was injected into the infracted myocardium and its border zone in therapeutic group , whereas the same border zone injected with IMDM in the sham rats. The right carotid artery were cannulated for measurement of left ventricular pressure (LVP) and heart function, represented as mmHg/sec. All the rats were killed after measurement of LVP, then heart specimens were fixed by injecting 10 % formalin from ascending aorta into coronary arteries. Expression of vimentin,α...
