Objective: (1)To study the difference of the level of serum leptin between coronary heart disease(CHD) and non-CHD group. (2)To study the difference of the Iipid level between CHD and non-CHD group. (3)To study the relationship between the level of the leptin and lipid. (4)To study the relationship between the leptin and c-reaction protein(CRP). (5) To explore the relationship among the leptin, the lipid, CRP and CHD. (6) To explore the possible mechanism of leptin led to CHD .Methods: 100 cases were selected during Junary 2005 to March 2006. 86 cases accepted coronary angiogram. All the cases were divided into two groups as CHD group and non-CHD group. The CHD group included 58 cases (44 males, 14 females) , aged 31-84 years(the average age 62.5 years). This group included 52 acute coronary syndrome patients (20 acute myocardial infarction patients, 32 unstable angina pectoris patients) and 6 stable angina pectoris patients. The non-CHD group included 42 cases (31 males, 11 females), aged 18-83 years (the average age 55.3 years). All the patients of non-CHD group had no coronary problem, no kidney and endocrinal disease which were verified by the angiogram or the medical history, physical examination, ECG, echocardiography and biochemical blood test. All the patients starved for 14 hours and the vein blood was sampling at morning. The blood samples were tested by the automatic biochemical machine to measure the cholesterol , triglyceride, high dense lipoprotein cholesterol and low dense lipoprotein cholesterol. At the same time ,the serum was centrifugally...
