Significance And Expression Of Aquaporins(AQPs) In The Middle Ear Mucosa Of Otitis Media With Effusion(OME)

Objective1 To establish the model of otitis media with effusion(OME) of SD rat.2 To determine the type and location of AQPs in normal rats' middle ear mucosa.3 To offer the character of morphology in OME of rat.4 To determine the expression of AQPs in the middle ear mucosa of otitis media with effusion(OME).5 To explore the effects of dexamethasone on the expression of AOPs in themiddle ear mucosa of otitis media with effusion(OME).Methods 70 clean rats were randomly divided into the normal group ,contro-1 group ,model group and drug treated group(injecting dexamethasone for unint -ermittent 3 days into abdominal cavity after successful model ),including 10 e ars in normal group,30 ears in control group,60 ears in model group and 40ear s in drug treated group .The methods of establish the model of OME:First of all. to prepare the d-eactivated streptococcus pneumoniae suspension,then to inject o.05 ml suspensio -n into the middle ear through acoustic capsule. Then seal the hole with bone wax. Inject equal physiology-ical saline into control group. Observe the histomor phological character of O-MS with histochemical technique.The expression and varition of AQPs in midd-le ear in each group were observe with immunohisto chemical technique(SP method).Then compare to the group after the application of dexamethasone.The data was dealed by SPSS, The analysis of variance to compute the differences between and among different experimental groups.Statis tical significance was defi-ned as P<0.05.
