Toxity Study Of Fuzi In Compound Prescriptions-the Drug Fuzi Decoction Of Treatise On Febrile Diseases

Objective:Research on toxic variety of fuzi in compound prescriptions of the drug Fuzi Decoction of Treatise on Febrile Diseases,probe into the cause and the toxic mechanism of the heart of fuzi,illuminate the scientific essence in drug compatibility's influencing on heart toxity of fuzi,and give the theoretic gist for the research on noxious traditional Chinese medicine in compound prescription.Methods:We use modern toxicological techniques to research Fuzi Decoction's acute toxicity and cumulative toxicity and the influence of different split prescription on fuzi.Results:The experiment expressed that the maximum tolerance dose of Fuzi Tang is more than 120g/kg with taken orally,and the median lethal dose of Fuzi Tang with grain alcohol sedimentation is 109.24g/kg,and the confidence limit of LD50 95% is 90.79～131.45g/kg,33～48 times as clinical dose.The control group's activities of SOD are much more higher,while the level of MDA is lower than the model group.The experimentation with cumulative toxicity of Fuzi Decoction indicated that the cumulative effect of Fuzi Decoction is not evident,and the compatibility can relieve the toxic effect resulted from taking dose continuously.Conclusion:Dosing fuzi continuously could lead to produce free radicals,and cause chain peroxidatic reaction of lipide.However,it may abate oxidative hyperirritability induced by free radicals through exerting renshen,baizhu,fuling and baishao.
