Objective To observe the influence of hemorrhagic shock on the pharmacology of rocuronium. Methods Thirty six adult healthy New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into three groups (n = 12): hemorrhagic shock group (SR), resuscitation group (RR) and control group (CR). Seven animals of each group were employed in observing the change of pharmacology, and the rest animals of each group were employed in observing the dose-effect of rocuronium. Results Compared with CR, the SR developed: an increase both in t1/2αand t1/2β, and a decrease both in Vd and CL. The onset time, duration of action, recovery index were delayed, and the dose-response curve was shifted to left in SR. After resuscitated, the t1/2αwas nearly recovered, and the other indexes were recovered at different levels. The MAP in three groups was increased obversly 2min after rocuronium injected(P < 0.05). The MAP in CR group was reached its peak 5min later, and recovered 10min later, in SR group and RR group was reached its peak 10minlater,and recovered 20min later. In CR group, the heart rate was decreased 2min after rocurnium injected(F = 4.6132, P =...
