Objective:(1)To explore the antitumor effects of allicin on mice hepatocellular carcinoma cells in vitro and its potential mechanisms.(2)To evaluate the effectiveness of allicin in the treatment of mice hepatocellular carcinoma model in vivo and its molecular mechanisms, in order to furnish a theoretical to the clinical application of allicin in cancer therapy. Methods: (1)Effects of different concentrations of allicin on the proliferation of mouse hepatocellular carcinoma MM45T.Li cells were accessed with MTT assay. Quantitative analysis of apoptosis was conducted by using flow cytometry, DNA agarose gel electrophoresis and electron microscopy. (2)A transplanted tumor model by injecting MM45T.Li cells into subcutaneous tissue of BABL/C mice were established and its growth curve were measured. 30 BABL/C mice with tumor were divided into 2 groups at random and 0.2ml saline or 0.2ml 1.95g/ml allicin were injected into abdominal cavity respectively once everyday and lasted for ten days. The changes of tumor volume were measured continuously and tumor inhibition rate of allicin was calculated. At last the expression of Caspase-3﹑Fas and FasL protein of...
