To collect the imaging appearance of splenic metastasis in 64 patients at Nanfang hospital during lastest 14 years and integrate related literatures. In order to analyze the imaging characteristic of splenic metastasis, and discuss the value of diagnosis and differentiated diagnosis in splenic metastasis.2. A rodent model of VX2 tumor to spleen was used to study the relationship betweenpathologic change of splenic carcinoma and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). To analyze relationship between the change of the signal intensity on superparamagnetic iron oxide(SPIO) enhanced MR images and phagocyte. To discuss the application value of SPIO enhanced detection in splenic focal lesion of rat.Materials and Methods1. Objects in study1.1 To study the splenic metastases in 64 patients which were diagnosed at ultrasonography(US) and computer tomographty(CT) and MRI examinations at Nanfang hospital during the yearsl992.1-2005.12 retrospectively. 30 patients were confirmed by histopathology after splenectomy and fine-needle biopsy.
