Experimental Study Of Treatment Of Hepatocyte Transplantation On Decompensated Cirrhosis

Hepatocyte transplantation is an effective therapy on fulminant or acute hepatic failure and some liver-associated metabolic diseases. Because of application of HCT, there is a alternative method temporary for liver transplantation(LT) which have high cost ,high mortality and limited donators.The many patients with decompensated cirrhosis need LT in China, but almost of these patients would be died during the time of waiting-for LT for various causes. So,HCT is a more valuable therapy in our country where it need more LTs. However, there is few report about HCT on decompensated cirrhosis and not any study in China.Aim: 1. To search a method which may induce stable decompensated cirrhosis model in rats; 2.To evaluate the therapeutic value of HCT on rats with decompensated cirrhosis;3.To observe the influence of HGF on apoptosis of hepatocytes transplanted to spleen.Methods: l.To induce decompensated cirrhosis in 120 SD-rats with 150-200g body weight by use of improving multiple factor methods in which drinking water was made up of white spirit (56% alcohol/volume) but not ethanol.
