Objective :To observe the effect of acute SVC clamp on rabbit's brain, and provide experimental foundation for operational scheme of SVCS. Methods: Twenty adult rabbits were divided randomly into two groups. In groupA (n=10),the rabbits have only been operation without blocking system svc .In group B(n=10), SVC had been blocked for two hours after operation, and opened again for one hour. The regional cerebral blood flow, electroencephalogram, and s100B protein were monitored during the corresponding period of time. In the end, the histological appearances of the brain tissue were observed under microscopic and electron microscope examination.Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in cerebral blood flow, electroencephalogram and s100B protein before operation(p>0.05).After operation,the cerebral blood flow decreased during clamping time, and increased after unblocking.
