Objectve:To study the changes of the.contents of dopamine D2 receptor in hippocampal CA2 region of morphine-dependent rats managed by extremely low-frequency electromagnectic field (ELFEF , 20Hz, 140G) after morphine withdrawal, and investigate whether the changes of the contents of dopamine D2 receptor are concerned with morphine dependence and withdrawal. Methods: 42 SD rats were randomly divided into control group (group A, n=6) and experimental group (n=36). Experimental group was divided into two groups: the simple morphine dependence group (group B,n=18) and morphine dependence group managed by ELFEF (group C, n=18) randomly . Group B and group C were randomly assigned into three subgroups of which is the 1st, 3rd, 5th day after morphine withdrawal group (subgroup, n=6). Immunohistochemical method and gray scale values of antibody were used to test the contents of dopamine D2 receptor in hippocampal CA2 region of SD rats of control group and experimental group. Then we compare the contents of dopamine D2 receptor with statistical method. Results: 1.The contents of dopamine D2 receptor in hippocampal CA2 region of every subgroup in experimental group are lower than those in the control group (P<0.01) . 2. The contents of dopamine D2 receptor in hippocampal CA2 region of the 1st and 3rd subgroup in...
