| PrefacePeople have made great clinical and experimental progress about in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF - ET) in these days. During applying the technique, people have made a fully study about the follicular liquid where an o-vums exists in vivo, to look for most suitable conditions for ovum culture in vitro and to improve the pregnancy rate of embryo transferred further. Because of the increase of patients' hormone levels caused by a big dose injection of drugs in Long cycle ovulated program, the local environment where an oocyte exists and the entire internal environment have been changed, and various hormones, growth factors and cytokines are secreted, to affect germ cells proliferation, cellular division ability, division quantity and existence interval, and then affect embryo growth and development. The quantity of cytokines and hormones in follicular liquid is closely related to patients'age, ovarian reactivity to drugs and reserve functions. Natural killer (NK) cell is a kind of immuno -regulatory cells with autonomous cytotoxic activity. NK cells can regulate immunity by releasing lymphokines and guide anti - tumor and anti - virus functions without antigen activation. They are chiefly responsible of natural immunity and acquired cellular immunity and are regulated by various cytokines. Present researches found that the activity of NK cells were promoted or inhibited by some cytokines in ovary, and NK cells might be related with embryo embedding, development and placenta formation. But the mechanism of the above - mentioned events is unclear and there is rare report about the killing functions of NK cells.
