The research on bone tissue replacement materials is one of the most attractive aspects of biomedical engineering. Due to the particularities of bone defect repair, it is necessary for the repair material to possess given performances, such as the mechanical strength, the biocompatibility, the osteoconductivity, and the osteoinductivity. Therefore, the exploration of the bone replacement materials based on tissue engineering technology has become a heated topic in this field. Noteworthly, the matrix material would play a key role in tissue engineering. As a traditional bioceramic, theβ-tricalcium phosphate(β-TCP) seems similar to natural bone minerals in composition, and appears excellent biocompatibility. However, some shoretages such as big brittleness, poor toughness, and high elastic modulus and so on exist in the properties ofβ-TCP. It would lead the clinical application of bioceramics to be limited. Now, some composite of polymer and ceramic have been developed as the matrix material instead of individual polymer matrix or ceramic matrix. It has been confirmed to be one of the developing directions of bone tissue engineering matrix materials. In order to prepare a kind of bone tissue engineering matrix material with favorable biocompatibility, mechanical properties and biodegradability, a...
