Screening Of AZF Microdeletion On Y Chromosome In The Patients With Azoospermia Or Severe Oligozoospermia

Objective: To assess the relationships between severe oligozoospermica or azoospermia and microdeletions on Y chromosome ; to set up the method for screening of microdeletions on Y chromosome ; to determin microdeletion loci and the characteristic of Y chromosome azoospermia factor(AZF) associated with jangxi azoospermia or severe oligozoospermia ; to approach the relationships between genotype and phenotype or gonadal hormone and provide some scientific theory basis for reasonable clinic therapy.Methods: we analysed the frequency of microdeletion on Y chromoome by 6 primes from three locus of AZF regions(AZFa.AZFb.AZFc)and SRY for 93 patients including 88 azoospermia and 5 severe oligozoospermia cases by three multiplex PCR technique . 88 azoospermia were divided into two sets: idiopathic azoospermia and non-idiopathic male infertile ,for comparison.
