Method 11 patients with male breast cancer in our hospital from 2000 to 2006 were reviewed and analysed. Results The common symptom was breast mass in patients with male breast cancer, and most masses were located in the region of mammary papilla and mammary areola. The most common pathological type was invasive carcinoma. The rate of ER-positive tumors was higher in men than women. The methods of treatment were surgery, chemotherapy and endocrine therapy, Conclusion The breast mass in the men should be treated seriously, and pathological test is necessary for all masses. Endocrine therapy played a important role for patients with ER/PR-positive.
