Bacteria are around us, some bacteria when contaminated can caused dangerous disease. During the long way fighting with the aliment bring by disease infection, people realized that the importance of developing knowledge about how to control the invisible killer. Traditional antibacterial materials are difficult to be applied to life appliance. Inorganic antibacterial materials are always effective to a lot of bacterial various inorganic antibacterial materials containing silver have been developed and some of them are in commercial used. However, release of silver ion can do harm to the human body. In our research work, we used the Zn ion as antibacterial element in contrast to Ag ion to develop an a harmless silicon Zeolite. In the antibacterial experiment, the materials can work well. Thus we conclude that our Zn-zeolite should be potential antibacterial materials.
