Objective: The efficacy of traditional Chinese medical acupuncture points adopted by injecting botulinum toxin type A (BTX-A), an inhibitor against "migraine generator" identified by our recently research, to treat migraine was investigated, further, and effectivity of that was compared with the method of location sites injected BTX-A used to treat migraine. The frequency, intensity, duration of migraine seizure and concomitant symptoms in mingraineurs were compared between pre-therapy and post-therapy with BTX-A injection, furthermore, between patients injected by BTX-A with acupuncture points and that with location sites.
