Objective:We analyzed the correlation between hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and the endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS) gene polymorphism(Glu298Asp and Gln112Arg) of pregnant women and their foetus. Methods:The study included 65 women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(22 patients with gestational hypertension, 43 patients with preeclampsia) and 70 normal pregnant women. The study also included 62 placentas of the women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(20 patients with gestational hypertension, 42 patients with preeclampsia)and 45 placentas of normal pregnant women. Screening for the eNOS gene polymorphisms (Glu298Asp and Gln112Arg) was carried out by analysis of polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism. Results:1. In the research of all the samples' Gln112Arg polymorphism, we found that there were no polymorphism, all the samples were GG genotype.2. In the research of Glu298Asp polymorphism:(1)In the research of mother's genotype: the frequency of GT genotype in the hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy group(20%) was lower than in the normal group(27.1%), on the contrary, the frequency of TT genotype in the hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy group(4.6%) was higher than that in the normal group(0)(Fisher exact probability was 0.013, P<0.05). But the T allele frequency in the hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy group (0.146) was...
