Ginsenosides is one of major ingredients of Panax ginseng.Many studies demonstrated that ginsenosides played important roles in anti-tumor, anti-virus, anti-stress, anti-oxidation ,delaying apolexis and replenishing the primordial qi,etc.Latest studies showed that related biologic activity were significantly enhanced after cetain hydroxy groups of polysaccharides were replaced with some sulphuric acid groups.However, almost studies of ginsenosides stand the situation of active compound and few molecular modification of ginsenosides and its active change were reported by consulting literature. In order to obtain the saponin derivative of better biologic competence and less cytotoxicity, molecular structure of two ginsenosides (including Total Saponin of Panax Ginseng(TSPG) and Ginsenoside-Rh2(G-Rh2)) were properly modificated,the effect was studied of ginsenosides of modification and no modification on main immunologic cells and related cytokines in mice. Ginsenoside or its derivative cytotoxicity on mouse splenic lymphocytes, proliferation of T and B lymphocytes induced by ConA or LPS were determined by using MTT assay.
