Objective: Gastric Cancer is the common malignant tumor of influencing humans health,It account the first place in digestive system malignant tumor, and the annual number of death is 25.16/10 ten thousand. The incidence is raises up year by year, with changes of envionment and food and drink. The pathology is incomplete distinct , participating in other malignant tumor.Lots of studies have manigested that cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),anti-oncogene P16 and Hepatocyte Growth Factor(HGF) are correlate with gastric carcinogenesis and development, but the conclusions are incongruous, and the reports that of COX-2,P16 and HGF expreesions may be relative in gastric are blank. In this study, expreesions of COX-2,P16 and HGF were detected by immunohistochemical method in normal gastric mucoma, dysplastic gastric mucoma and gastric cancer tissues,to investigate their correlativity and the effect to the biological behavior of gastric cancer.Methods:30 samples of gastris cancer that were amputated in the affiliated Zhongshan hospital of dalian university and dalian centra hospital from 2005 to 2007 were studied. All cases of gastric cancer did not accepted the radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and 10 samples of dysplastic gastris mucosa and 10 samples of normal gastric mucosa were screened randomly in control group. All the samples of dysplastic gastric mucosa and gastric cancer corresponded with the diagnostic standard.Expressions of COX-2,P16 and HGF were detected by immunohistochemical method in 50 samples of gastric tissues.Statistics used SPSS 11.5.Results:1.the development of normal gastric mucosa→dysplastic gastric mucosa→gastris cancer tissues, the positive overexpression rates of COX-2 and HGF proteins showed rising trend, and P16 protein showed negative. The difference of COX-2,P16 and HGF expression in gastric cancer tissues versus normal gastric tissues, and gastric cancer tissues versus dysplastic gastric tissues was statistically significant.2.In gastric cancer tissues, the espressions P16 and HGF,COX-2 and HGF have remarkable correlativity.Conclusion:1. COX-2,P16 and HGF play an important role in the mutiple procedure process of gastric carcinogenesis and development that participating mutiple genes.2.HGF may has significance in the gastric carcinogenesis through the accommodation with P16 and COX-2.
