Research Advancement On Patients With Hypomenorrhea, Delayed Menorrhea And Amenorrhea Of Deficiency Of Kidney-YIN Type

According to the theory of Chinese Medicine, kidney is a key to the emerging of the menstruation. Monthly, whether the menstruation arrives on time or not, depends on the kidney's function. So the main idea of regulating the menstruation is to regulate the kidney's physiological function. And the menopathy is quite common in women. There are many women who are suffering from it. At the same time, in our clinic, we note that, the relationships among hypomenorrhea, delayed menorrhea and amenorrhea , which both has the type of deficiency of kidney-YIN , are very closed. They show us a tendency of anamorphosis. Among them, either in etiopathogenisis, clinical manifestation or tendency of disease, all have very closed association. As the type contains the pathogenesis, we also call this"the same type with the same therapeutics". That we can use the same therapeutics, nourishing Yin and invigorating the kidney, for the type of deficiency of kidney-YIN's hypomenorrhea, delayed menorrhea and amenorrhea. Because they have the same type. This article summarises the doctors'therapeutics experience, from that, we know the therapeutics of nourishing Yin and invigorating the kidney is effective in treating patients with hypomenorrhea, delayed menorrhea and amenorrhea of deficiency of kidney-Yin type.Then in the Western Medicine's point of view, the regulation of menstrual cycle is chiefly modulated by the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis (HPOA) and target organ endometrium's periodicity response. The menstrual changes above-mentioned, we could call them irregular menstruation. And in clinic, the ovary factor is more common than others, such as premature ovarian failure (POF) and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). So this article also dose some overviews on POF's and PCOS's etiopathogenisis, pathogenesy and therapeutics.Above all, this article has done some overviews on the hypomenorrhea, delayed menorrhea and amenorrhea with deficiency of kidney-YIN type, both in the Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.
