Objective: To evaluate the fertility outcome after laparoscopic tubal anastomosis for reversal of sterilization. Methods: From March 2006 to June 2006,6 patients with tubal sterilization who underwent laparoscopic tubal anastomosis were evaluated. Patients' age varied from 28 to 40 years. Results: Laparoscopic tubal anastomosis was performed successfully in all of the 6 patients. Each of them had a shorter recovery time without any postoperative complications. Postoperative hydrotubations 3 days and 5 days after surgery demonstrated patency in 5 of 6.After a 12-month follow-up period, two patients are currently pregnant, one was inevitable aborted, and one was lost to follow-up.Conclusions: Laparoscopic tubal anastomosis requires advanced endoscopic skills. In selected cases, laparoscopic tubal anastomosis can be offered to patients who had been submitted to tubal sterilization and desire new pregnancies.
