1. ObjectivesTo investgate the preoperative endplate angle measurement of Bryan cervical disc prothesis replacement, to improve the measurement of Bryan cercical disc system technique supplied, to observe the preoperative endplate angle adjusting range of different target disc space.2. MethodsAfter burring the anterior and inferior surfaces osteophyte. the vertical of caudal vertebral body anterior surface and the vertical of the posterior inferior corner of the caudal vertebal body and the posterior superior corner of the cephalad vertebral body of the target disc space, the angle between the twe verticals is the angle need to adjust, to use the direct and indirect measurements to measure the angle , tocompare the consistency of the two measurements and to analyze the adjusting range of different target disc space.3. ResultsThe results of the two measurements is same, the measure result of 120cases, between the two age groups , the C5-6 is the biggest and the C3-4 is the smallest , have a significent difference with other target disc space. C4-5, C6-7 have different order between two different groups, to every target disc space , the adjust angle increases with the age, osteophyte, cervical vurvature.4. ConclusionWe think the clinical application of Bryan cervical disc prothesis replacement should choose the patients less than 60 years, the preoperative angle measurement should remove the effect of the anterior surfaces osteophyte, adjusting range is 2-5° ,average is 3.6° , to make the prothesis implanted angle fit tightly with the natural angle of the target disc space, to improve long-term outcome.
