objective:To compare the early clinical outcome of cervical arthroplasty (Bryan cervical disc) in Cervical spondylosis with ACDF, and investigate the advantage and disadvantages of the operation.Methords:55 patients with Cervical spondylosiswho Were divided into 2 groups,were implanted with Bryan cervical disc and were had the ACDF operation.from March 2009 to March 2010 in orthopaedic centre of dongzhimen hospital.the JOA scores, pain visual VAS, and Imaging score:ROM was recorded before surgery,after surgery 1 week and 6 months,were recorded.Results:Two groups have got follow-up. Compared with pre-operation,the symptom improve significantly in 1 week post-operation and 6 months post-operation. But ROM of the ACDF groups lesser than the other groups greatly.Conclution:Bryan cervical disc is a safe,easy and effevtive methord to treat Cervical spondylosis.The operation time is short, the trauma is lesser, the bleeding is less。The operasion can maintain normal physiological curvature and protect djacent segments, and decrease the adjacent segments degeneration, and reduce again operation rate,.Recent follow-up is good,The long-term effect pending further observation.
