To Investigate The EGG Characteristic And The Relationship With Gastric Emptying Of The Patients With Chronic Gastritis Of Different Types

[Background and purposes] Chronic gastritis(CG) is a common and frequently occurring disease which has not only an influence on the quality of a human life,but also has a intimate relationship with carcinoma of stomach that we must concentrate on.The etiopathogenitis of CG is principally concerned with infection of HP, autoimmunity, drink ,food,and so on.Recently,some researchers have found the dysfunction of the gastric motor in patients with CG.With the development of the electrogastrogram(EGG) technology, the scientists have payed more attention to increasingly. The aims of the study is to investigate the characteristic and the relationship with gastric emptying (GE) of the patients with chronic gastritis of different types.[Methods] This study was conducted in 190 cases CG of different types and 50 healthy volunteers as control, which were confirmed by gastroscope .Gastric myoelectric activity was recorded by cutaneous EGG to check the percent rate of gastric myoelectric arrhythmias at 30minute anteprandial and 60 minute postprandial.Gastric emptying was messured by radiopaque barium marker mixed standard test meal method,and then carried on the abdomen even piece inspection in 5 hours after the meal. The aims of the study is to investigate the characteristic and the relationship with gastric emptying (GE) of the patients with chronic gastritis of different types.Used SPSS software to start. [Results]1. The GE characteristic of the patients with CG of different typesThe 5h rates of gastric emptying postprandial in chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) were lower significantly than the controls(47.2±41.2 VS 85.8±16.7,p<0.05).It hinted the existence of gastric emptying delayed.however,there were no obviously difference between other types chronic gastritis and normal volunteers.2. The EGG characteristic of the patients with CG of different types(1) In chronic superficial gastritis(CSG),the bradygastria rates postprandial were higher significantly than those of normal control group(9.4±2.2 VS 8.8±2.0,p<0.05).The percent of normal gastric myoelectrical activity postprandial with CSG were lower significantly than those of normal control group(86.8±2.3 VS 87.4±3.8,p<0.05).The tachygastria rates postprandial with CSG were significantly increased than those of normal control group(8.5±2.2 VS 7.9±1.8,p<0.05).(2) In chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) ,the postprandial to fasting power ratio (PR)was decreased significantly than the controls(2.4±0.4 VS 2.6±0.3,p<0.05),that hinted gastric motivation lower.(3) There was significantly difference between the percent rates of normal gastric myoelectric activity postprandial in chronic bile reflux gastritis(CBRG) and those of the control group.(4) There wasn't significantly difference between chronic erosive gastritis(CEG) and normal control group.3. The relationship between EGG and GE in chronic gastritis of different types The detection rates of gastric emptying delayed accounted 40.2% in 131 casesof normal gastric myoelectrical activity anteprandial, 46.3% in 40 cases bradygastria, 50.8% in 33 cases tachygastria, 48.2% in 36 cases gastric myoelectric rhythm disturbance,which hinted that gastric myoelectric arrhythmias can't anticipation the result of gastric emptying completely. The exact relationship between electrogastrogram and gastric emptying in chronic gastritis of different types have not be confirmed.[Conclution] There was gastric myoelectric rhythm disturbance and abnormal gastric emptying to some degree in chronic gastritis of different types,which wasn't certain dependablity with the gastric emptying.
