Objective: To evaluate the change of the amount of collagen and elastic fibers in the dermis after Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser non-ablative photorejuvenation, in order to offer references for effective clinical treatments. Methods: The 532nm and 1064nm Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser was used in the experiment .Eighten mouse were randomly divided into six groups,There are three mouse in every group. The mouse back was dived by spine into tow sides, the left was laser inadiation side, and the right was control side. 532nm.1064nm and combination 532nm and 1064nm for each mouse of every group were randomly applied for five times at interval of seven days. The content of collagen type I and III in the dermis from eighten mouse skin were detected by immunohistochemical method. The collagen bundles width and the amount of elastic fibers in the dermis were detected by computer. Results 1.A higher depth of the fiber and the content of collagen type I and III in the dermis of experiment groups were seen compared with these in control(P<0.01) 2. A higher depth of the fiber and the content of collagen type I and III in the dermis of 532nm group were seen compared with these in 1064nm group(P<0.01); A higher depth of the fiber and the content of collagen type I and III in the dermis of 532nm and 1064nm combination group were seen compared with these in 532nm group and 1064nm group(P<0.01).3.A higher content of elastic fibers in the dermis of experiment groups were seen compared with these in control(P<0.01).
