| Objective: In order to offer a theoretical basis for therapy of retina contusion under high altitude environment, we investigate the effect of high altitude environment on the expressions of NGF and Nogo in the Rabbits' retina after eye contusion.Methods: The eye contusions were made by falling strike to the two-month old rabbits under high altitude environment and sub-high altitude environment. The contused eyes were got after 1d, 3d, 7d and 14d of contusion respectively. Meanwhile, paraffin retina slices were made and the expressions of NGF and Nogo in the retinas were tested with immunohistochemistry. To compare the expressions of NGF and Nogo in the Rabbits' retina after the eye contusion under high altitude environment and sub-high altitude environment.Results: The expression of NGF in the contused eyes' retina under high altitude environment: 1st day is weak, 3rd day reaches the peak, 7th day decreases and 14th day follows the same level as 1st day. Furthermore, the expression of NGF in the contused eyes' retina under high altitude environment is lower than sub-high altitude environment at the four times. From 1st day to 3rd day, the expression of Nogo under high altitude environment is increase, and on 3rd day reaches the peak, From 3rd day to 7th day is decrease, however it keeps high level on 14th day. And all the expression of Nogo in the contused eyes' retina is higher than sub-high altitude environment at the same time.Conclusion: (1) The expression of NGF and Nogo in the contused eyes' retina is effected under high altitude environment. (2) High-altitude environment probably delay the repairs of retina after eye contusion by changing related factors' expression in the micro-environment of retina. (3) Trying to restrain the vitality of Nogo, and use NGF suitably, we may accelerate the recovery of retina after eye contusion under high altitude environment. |
