Objective:To study the significance of the expression of HIF-1α in rat retina correlated with the change of retinal thickness at the high altitude condition. Methods:The model of high altitude hypoxia in rats were made, In order to analyze the correlation between rat retina the expression change rule of HIF-1α used immunohistochemical method and in retinal thickness using optical coherence tomography (Optical coherence tomography, OCT) at high altitude hypoxia condition. Results: In the normal retina, HIF-la was slightly expressed, while in retinal high altitude group, the expression of HIF-1α ascended obviously at 6 hours, reached peak at 10 hours; the expression of HIF-la ascended obviously at 12 hours, reached peak at 72 hours, and retinal thickness increased at 6 hours.There was a collaborative relationship between the expression of HIF-1α in rat retina and retinal thickness. Conclusion:In hypoxia environment, the expression of HIF - 1 alpha and retinal thickness change have the same change trend, and there is an obvious correlation between HIF - 1 alpha expression and retinal thickness changes. Retinal thickness changes can be measured by OCT, so as to make the microscopic damage by imaging. |
