Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the combination treatment project of traditional and west medicine.Methods: The study selected 53 patients. 55 eyes, were divided randomly into two groups, with the sequence of diagnose, one is control group, another is treatment group, The control group: give patients injection of fufangzhangliujian; treatment group: give patients some drugs that can improve microcirculation by intravenous drip, neurotrophin, Chinese herbal "tongqiaomingmu decotion", acupuncture.To carry out the comparison of between before the therapy and after the therapy, also between the two mathods in aspects of visual field and visual evoked potential.Results: Two groups of drugs can stabilize patients vision, improve the visual field, enhance the optic nerve of electric activity, but curative effect of therapeutic alliance with Chinese and western medicine surpass the other group. And the curative effect relate to course of disease.The earlier therapy, the batter curative effect will be.Conclusion : Combined therapy of Chinese and westen medicine have better curative effect in Troumatic Optic Atrophy and have protection for the visual function.
