The Clinical Research Of Modified Decoction Of Bupleurum, Cinnamon Andginger Treating The Climacteric Heart

Objective: Through observing the change of the clinicalsyndrome, endocrine indexes(FSH,LH and E₂) and ECG, andanalyzing the statistic data, to evaluate objectively the effects ofDecoction of Bupleurum, Cinnamon and Ginger in treatment of"Climacteric Heart" .Methods: Sixty patients with "Climacteric Heart" were equally divided into 2 groups at random: group A(treated with Decoction of Bupleurum, Cinnamon and Ginger), group B(treated with nilestriol). After three months, physical signs were observed and endocrine indexes, ECG were detected before and after treatments of tested agents for evaluation of the effects.Results: 1)All the 2 groups showed improvement of clinical symptoms and physical signs after treatments. In total effective rate the improvement was significant (p<0.05) ,but in distinct curative effect it was not; 2)On ECG, the result proved that the 2 groups did not have significance meaning. 3 ) For the effects on endocrine system, the levels of FSH and LH decreased significantly in all the 2 groups, but group B was superior to group A, and there had significance(p<0.05). The levels of E₂ could be significantly improved, however there had no statistical significance in group A and B ( p>0.05 ) .The results showed that in group A there was a remarkable double effect in improving clinical syndrome, signs and endocrine indexes of Climacteric Heart.Conclusion: Decoction of Bupleurum, Cinnamon and Ginger was superior to the Western medicine in improving clinical syndrome, and the patients receive easily in mentality. We want to give play to the traditional Chinese medicine advantage, optimize the healing solution in menopause, in order to promote the development of academic level of traditional Chinese medicine and improve the health hygiene level of women of our country.
