| Objective: Based on Preliminary research, our discussion group further observed the influence of the treatment principle of "invigorating spleen and promoting blood by regulating qi" on metabolism of collagen when Chronic Pancreatitis (CP) occurred, to penetrate into discussion about this principle's anti-fibrous mechanism.Method: With the method of injecting L-Arg into abdomen of the rat, we built a new model which combine diseases and syndromes; Utilizing the techniques, such as immuno-histochemistry, optical microscope and Elisa, the paper investigated the effect of the regulating factors of texture fibrous Collâ… , uPA and Pâ…¢NP s contents of serum in Chronic Pancreatitis rats; meanwhile, observes the intervening effect of "YI TAI Compounded Medication". This paper studied the anti-fibrous mechanism from tissue form and molecular level.Result: 1. The treatment principle of "invigorating spleen and promoting blood by regulating qi" could recover most of the pancreas acinar, reduce fiber constituents in pancreas lobular, accelerate absorption of inflammatory cells, increase body's dissolved ability; 2. The treatment principle of "invigorating spleen and promoting blood by regulating qi" could restrain the expression of Collâ… , decrease the contents of Pâ…¢NP, so as to reduce the synthesis of collagen protein and deposition of ECM; 3. The treatment principle of "invigorating spleen and promoting blood by regulating qi" could increase the expression of uPA to dissolved fiber to accelerate the degradation of ECM.Conclusion: The treatment principle of "invigorating spleen and promoting blood by regulating qi" is an effective method of preventing and treating CP, and YI TAI Compounded Medication has a higher clinical value. Its action implements through influencing metabolism of collagen, regulating the synthesis and degradation of ECM, so as to restrain the fibrosis of pancreas.
