Clinical Study Of Bu Shen Huo Xue Tang For Angina Pectoris Of Postmenopausal Women With Coronary Heart Disease

Objective: Coronary heart disease is one of the common cardiovascular diseases in clinical medicine. The clinical epidemiology research has revealed that the incidence of coronary heart disease in premenopausal women was 10 percent to 30 percent of the incidence of men. But the incidence and the mortality of coronary heart disease in postmenopausal women is 4 to 8 times more than premenopausal women, obviously more than men. The mortality increased 7 times as the age increased 10 years. As the living standard improved, the number of aging people increased, our society has come into an aging world, the incidence of coronary heart disease in postmenopausal women was obviously growing up as the age increased. Our research was from this point of view, we used systematic and scientific method to study the effect of invigorate kidney and promoting blood circulation method on patients of angina pectoris, and to discuss the influence on Female Hormone levels and the lipids. We want to establish a useful and safety way about traditional Chinese medical therapy for angina pectoris, and to make a foundation for further-research.Method: We selected 60 patients of angina pectoris in postmenopausal women with the type of renal deficiency and blood stasis, and randomly divided them into treating group with bu shen huo xue tang and control group. The two groups received the different therapy for about 4 weeks. Patients of the first group accepted bu shen huo xue tang, and the control group received guan xin er hao fang. We recorded the frequency and degree of angina pectoris before and after the therapy, made the ECG, checked the level of FSH,E2,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C for further discussion. And we also investigated the toxicity and adverse reaction of this soup.Results: The effective power of releasing angina pectoris were 93.33% and 66.67% respectively, there was significant difference in the two groups before and after treatment(u＝1.9751, p＜0.05). The effective power of Chinese clinical syndromes were 90% and 66.67% respectively, there was significant difference in the two groups before and after treatment(u＝2.1735, p＜0.05).The effective power of ECG were 90.00% and 73.33% respectively, there was no significant difference in the two groups before and after treatment(u＝1.6762, p＞0.05).The scores of the level of FSH in the treatment group were 64.00±5.33 and 59.09±4.51 before and after treatment respectively; there was significant difference in this group before and after treatment(t＝3.876, p＜0.01);those in the control group were 63.05±4.31 and 62.91±4.18 before and after treatment respectively, there was no significant difference in this group before and after treatment(t＝0.127, p＞0.05). The scores of the level of E2 in the treatment group were 80.63±8.85 and 90.53±9.74 before and after treatment respectively; there was significant difference in this group before and after treatment(t＝4.116, p＜0.01);those in the control group were 77.00±6.24 and 76.60±6.39 before and after treatment respectively, there was no significant difference in this group before and after treatment(t＝0.248, p＞0.05). The scores of the level of CHOL in the treatment group were 5.20±0.49 and 4.39±0.53 before and after treatment respectively; those in the control group were 5.23±0.68 and 4.71±0.64 before and after treatment respectively; there was significant difference in the two groups before and after treatment(t＝2.10, p＜0.05).The results of the other three lipids were the same. We have not found toxicity and adverse reaction in both groups, so it revealed that both groups were safety.Conclusion: Bu shen huo xue tang can efficiently improve the level of female hormone, (it can raise the content of E2, depress the content of FSH), adjust the lipids disorder. And it also can improve the quality of life and relieve the clinical symptoms. It revealed that bu shen huo xue tang can prevent and treat angina pectoris of postmenopausal coronary heart disease.
