Objective:To investigate the angiographic characteristics of patients coronary heart disease withobesity and the relationship between serum hsCRP levels and coronary artery lesions. Methods: The serum levels of hsCRP were examined in 80 patients with angiocardiographydocumented coronary heart disease in the central hospital of ShengLI oil field. 54 patients of coronaryheart disease with obesity(study group) and 26 patients suffering coronary heart disease(control group)were measured by body mass index(BMI≥28kg/m~2). Every group was divided into acute coronarysyndrome group(ACS) which includes acute myocardial infarction(AMI) and unstable anginapectoris(UA) and stable angina pectoris(SA), and it was divided into the multi-vessel lesionsgroup(MVL) and the single-vessel lesions group(SVL) by the numbers of vessel with percent stenosesof>50% diameter. There were 42 patients of ACS including in 10 of AMI and 32 of UA and 12 patientsof SA in study group.Control group gained 14 patients of ACS including in 4 of AMI and 10 of UAand 12 patients of SA.Meanwhile,31 patients of MVL and 23 of SVL were divided into study group, 8of MVL and 18 of SVL into control group. The coronary artery lesions score was recorded according tosingle, double, triple vessel lesions. The relationship between serum levels of hsCRP and the coronaryartery score were assessed according to Gensini scoring system.Results:①The disease was earlier in the patients of coronary heart disease with obesity than inthe patients of control group (P<0.05).Occurrence of ACS and MVL was more in study group than incontrol group(P<0.05).②The level of serum hsCRP was higher in ACS than SA (4.51±2.13比3.35±1.72,P<0.01) and (4.36±2.23比2.09±1.16, P<0.01).③The level of serum hsCRP was positively correlated with the Gensini score(r=0.391,P<0.01) and (r=0.352,P<0.05),the mumbers of vessels lesion(r_s=0.349,P<0.01) and(r_s=0.336,P<0.05).Gensini score of MVL was severer than SVL (P<0.01).Conclusions:①The patients of coronary heart disease with obesity were apparently earlier and apter to develop 2-3 branches Diffusively diseased than with obesity.②The level of serum hsCRPwas related with occurrence of acute coronary syndrome in patients coronary heart disease withobesity.③The positive correlation between the level of serum hsCRP and the coronary artery scoremay indicate that hsCRP levels might reflect the severity of coronary atherosclerosis.
