| ObjectiveTo study the influence on the liver function with SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE and glutathione (GSH) for patients of primary hepatic carcinoma after transhepatic artery chemo-embolization (TACE)Methods94 primary hepatic carcinoma patients after TACE were randomly divided into three groups: GSH group (A), SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE and GSH group (B), SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE group (C).group A: GSH1.2g was add in 5%G.S;groupe B: GSH1.2g was add in 5%G.S and SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE 250ml;groupe C:only SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE 250ml.Check their liver functions in the preoperational day ,the third day, the sixth day and the tenth day after TACE, and the thirtieth day to score their quality of life, for AFP positive patients ,to analysis in the thirtieth day after TACE ,to view if there were new focuses of infection through CT or DSA in the thirtieth and sixtieth day after TACE, to view if there were side effects when use the drugs, and collect dates to do significant tests.The results 1. Liver functions: there were highly significant difference between A and B, B and C (P＜0.01), there are significant deviation between A and C (P＜0.05).2. There were no differences among A, B and C groups for AFP positive patients and there were no differences for CT or DSA check.3. Quality of life scores: there were highly significant difference between A and B, B and C (P＜0.01), and no significant difference between A and C (P＞0.05).4. Side effects: there were no significant differences among A, B and C (P＞0.05).ConclusionSHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE and GSH had liver protective effect coordinately; SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE and GSH were better than SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE or GSH; SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE was not better than GSH. SHEN QI FU ZHENG ZHU SHE YE could improve the qualities of life for patients; there were only slight side effects and safe when used them.
