A Compare Study Of Values Between Advanced Culture And Lagged Culture In Nursing Work

Objective: Nursing culture is a part of nursing service, it will enriches service connotation, redound to provide the individuality, the effective and the holistic care. In order to find problems and construct nursing culture and provide the standards on advanced nursing culture. Questionnaire is designed to find out the problems and analysis the factors in nurses and patients cognizance. ,Methods: The patients and nurses were selected randomly in the People's Hospital of Shihezi and the first Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University to realize the way they understand the advanced culture. The research methods included Observation method, open interview method and close questionnaires the data were analyzed by SPSS 11.5 soft waresResults: The right rate of the cognition to health idea, death idea, medicine idea, nursing idea among nurses is higher, meanwhile, the right rate of the cognition to disease idea, life idea, medicine object among nurses is lower. The affected factors are the length of nursing service, educational levels and age of nurses. The right rate of life idea, death idea, medicine idea among patients is higher, meanwhile the correct rate of cognition to health idea, disease idea, nursing idea is lower. The affect causes are patients'study history, career and their age.Conclusion: By this investigation, we found that the nurses have better awareness about some question. It shows that the two hospitals which were investigated have paid more attention to build nursing culture, and these paid a better condition for building nursing culture .But there are some wrong cognition about advanced nursing culture among nurses. It is a common phenomenon, though it can be harmful to the development of society, to the healing, maintenance and promotion of human health. Great efforts are needed to raise the level of cognition of nurses to the mentioned aspects, step by step, through building up of advanced nursing culture; meanwhile it suggests that supervisors to nursing staff pay attention to these problems. By the investigation of patients, we found that there was a lot of wrong cognition about advanced nursing culture among patients, in order to construct better clinical nursing culture we should pay attention to both nursing staff and patients.Based on the study outcome of humanity and sociology about advanced culture, we put forward the identification standards of advanced nursing culture: it is beneficial to the development of social production, to the harmony and progress of society, to the convalescence, maintenance and promotion of human health, to the persistent development of nursing science.
