A Clinical Study On Traditional Puerarin Combined With Glucocoricoid In The Treatment Of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada Desease

Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of puerarin with gucocorticoid treated the Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada desease.Methods: Clinically collected the 32 patients ( 64eyes) diagnosed as the Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada desease,the age of patients from 28 to 60, average 44 years old; Male 17, woman 15 example; the sight of 17 eyes between 4.0 and 4.2 ,4.2～4.4 have 32eyes,≥4.4 have15eyes; patients are divided into contrasted group and treating group at random, the observed group have 17 patiens (34eyes) treated by the gucocorticoid only ; the treating group have 15 patiens (30eyes) treated by the traditional Chinese medicine herbs combined with gucocorticoid ; these eyes are checked respectively by the vision, Mf-ERG, FFA before and after treating. All of the data are analyzed by the statistics,then evalute the clinical effect.Results: (1) The curative effect aspect, the treating group was superior to the contrasted group (P<0.05); (2) The sight aspect, the treating group was significant diffience between the before and after treating (p<0.01); the contrasted group was significant diffience between the before and after treating (p<0.05); after treating, the vision of two groups have both improvement ,the treating group was superior to the contrasted group (P<0.05); (3) For Mf-ERG, the absolute value of responding density of wave P₁ of two groups have both improvement, delitescence of wave P₁ of the two group decurtate, they had the statistical significance (p<0.05) ; after treating, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05); (4) For FFA, after treating,compared to the improvement of leakage of fluorescein had the statistical significance (P<0.05) . Conclusion: Puerarin with gucocorticoid has more superior curative effect than gucocorticoid only on treating the Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada desease.
