Studies On The Quality Evaluation And Establishment Of Quality Standard Of Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergh Produced In Zhejiang Province

Chinese medicine Zhebeimu(Bulbus Fritillariae thunbergh) is the dried bulb of Fritillaria thunbergii Miq., It has the actions of resolving phlegm, arresting cough, clearing away heat and dispersing stagnation. Thus it is used for cough due to wind and heat, pulmonary abscess, goister and scrofula, carbuncle.The best extraction technique of total alkaloids in Zhebeimu was studied in this dissertation and established as follow: the crude drug was refluxed for 4 hours at 80℃with 20 times-volume CHCl₃, which was fully infiltrated with 2 times-volume ammonia water for 15 minutes in advance. The optimal produce region, harvesting period and processing method were determined using the established method. Furthermore, the contents of peimine and peiminine were determined with HPLC-ELSD method. It was confirmed that the best-quality Zhebeimu was produced in Yin country of Ningbo City and Pan'an country of Jinhua City, which was harvested in the first ten days of April and processed with method of drying in the sun after cleaning.Finally, to study the quality of zhebeimu, the quantity of inorganic matter in plants, water content and extractives were analyzed. Its ingredients of peimine and peiminine are also determined. This study have established standard for crude medicine production, furthermore, the fulfillment will strengthen Zhejiang province's dominant status of Zhebeimu production.
